In this drawing I draw myself staring into a mirror. On one side, I stare into a mirror, using minimal details on myself. On the other end, my reflection shows myself in a military green shirt. On one end, it looks to be incomplete, but it is meant to be that way. The version of myself I drew in virtually no color is drawn that way because we sometimes think of ourselves as something less than we really are. We tend to think that we aren't always special. In reality, we should look into our reflection. Because that reflection shows us who we really are. That reflection shows that we always have the potential to become the best we can always be.
One of the toughest challenges I encountered in the making of this art was keeping the art meaningful with as few details as possible. It took me a long time to realize that one of the few ways I was able to make it possible was putting myself in simple clothing while making my reflection something that makes me feel myself.
